Welcome to this video series called: Systems Wisdom.

In this video series, we’ll go over various aspects of “systems wisdom” that you can use to penetrate to the heart of your systems to change them and, who knows, to maybe even change your life. So, if you want to leverage a systemic view to your organization, your team or your community and if you are or want to be a systems practitioner, you will benefit from this video series.

This series is suitable for all, whether you are a beginner, a seasoned systems thinker or if you actively apply systems thinking based approaches or do systemic work.

During today’s short Systems Wisdom video, I want to talk to you about: Paying Attention to What is Important, Not Just What is Quantifiable. We have this conception that, if we can measure it, then it must be more important than if we can’t. By focusing solely on quantity, if quantity is how we motivate and think about ourselves, then we’ll end up with nothing but quantity. Quality will be left by the wayside.
