Most leaders were trained to lead change in their organization by looking at its parts, dissecting their organization, seeing what is going well and what is not, as if a machine. Unfortunately, this approach doesn’t help with complex problems, because there are no straight lines from cause to effect. What you need is a different approach to your organization, to your leadership, to your change process and to the problems you’re trying to solve. This different approach can be found in systems thinking.
