During today’s 5 minute Systemic Rules for Transformation video, I share with you, rule number 2: Ground yourself in unpredictability. Complexity is the nature and state of living systems and the world in which we live. And what’s clear about complex systems, is that they consist of multiple agents or subsystems, combining and interacting in unpredictable and non-linear ways. This means that decisions often lead to not only intended consequences, but also to unintended consequences and side effects. That’s why: You should be able to ground yourself well in unpredictability.
